Gabriela DeBues-Stafford shatters longstanding Canadian 1,500m record

Make it five Canadian records for runner Gabriela DeBues-Stafford in 2019 after the Toronto native broke Lynn Kanuka's near-34-year-old mark on Saturday, placing third in 4:00.26 in the women's 1,500 metres at the Müller Anniversary Games at London Stadium.
