5-time Olympic gold medallist Missy Franklin leaves swimming at 23

Missy Franklin, the darling of the 2012 Summer Olympics with four gold medals, has decided to retire at age 23. The current world-record holder in the 200-metre backstroke cited chronic shoulder pain for her decision.
