B.C. pitcher James Paxton traded to New York Yankees

New York Yankees acquired James Paxton, the 30-year-old left-hander from Ladner, B.C., from the rebuilding Seattle Mariners on Monday for top prospect Justus Sheffield and two other minor leaguers.
