Uyghur activist urges Olympians to put pressure on China with podium gesture

Kabir Qurban, who says he has over 30 Uyghur relatives in Xinjiang, is working with activists worldwide on a campaign challenging Olympians to make a silent statement in order to raise awareness of the Chinese government's human-rights abuses in the region.
