Melissa Bishop-Nriagu runs under 800m standard 3 months from Tokyo Olympics

Melissa Bishop-Nriagu, the 2015 world silver medallist from Eganville, Ont., ran one minute 59.04 seconds Sunday night to win the women's 800 metres at a California high performance meet and dip below the automatic Tokyo Olympics qualifying time of 1:59.50.
