If hockey is for everyone, those in power need to listen — even if the message is difficult to hear

The NHL likes to say that hockey is for everyone. In fact, February is "Hockey is for Everyone" month. Year-round, you can even buy a shirt with the words emblazoned across the chest. But as Vicki Hall writes, none of that matters if the reality doesn't live up to the slogan.
