Vancouver's Luc Bruchet successfully defended his senior men's 10K title, battling cool and rainy conditions on a muddy Fort Henry course Saturday before crossing the line in 29 minutes 54.9 seconds at the Canadian cross-country championships in Kingston, Ont.
