IOC president won't speculate on Russians at Olympics

$International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach refused to speculate on the status of Russian athletes ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games while addressing reporters after an executive meeting on Friday. The IOC has scheduled a summit of sports leaders for June 21 to harmonize policy on eligibility for the Games. The meeting will come four days after the IAAF decides whether to maintain or lift its suspension of Russia's track and field athletes from global competition for doping infractions.$

IOC president Thomas Bach refused to be drawn on whether it could allow some Russian athletes in the Rio Olympics even if the country's track and field team remains suspsended over state-sponsored doping allegations.
