Ex-Canadiens forward Smith-Pelly fined $2K for diving

New Jersey Devils forward Devante Smith-Pelly has been fined $2,000 US for diving/embellishment. The play in question came in a Feb. 24 game at Washington while playing for Montreal when the Capitals' Nicklas Backstrom received a minor penalty for slashing.
